QUICK CHICKPEA THOSA WITH FILLING & FIVE BEAN SALAD

  INGREDIENTS

Five Bean Salad:

  • One tin of LA Palma 5 Legumi

  • Chopped parsley 1 tbsp

  • Diced tomatoes hand full

  • Chopped onions 2 tbsp

  • Virgin olive oil 2 tbsp

  • Season to taste

METHOD

Open the 5 Legumi can and drained the water and add to a bowl and then add the other ingredients and mix softly. Served chilled.

  INGREDIENTS

Quick Chickpea Thosa With Filling:

  • 2 Natures Pearls chickpea tins

  • 1 Natures Pearls lentils tin

  • Rice Flour half a cup

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • Season to taste

  • Water for consistency

  • Onion

  • Garlic few cloves

  • Dices tomatoes 

  • Curry leaves few

  • Scraped coconuts half a cup

  • Chilli flakes | tsp

  • Ghee oil few teaspoons

METHOD

  • Add one tin of chickpeas and lentil in to a blender add the rice flour and season to taste then blend to a smooth texture. Pour in batches to a hot pan and add ghee to add moisture. Cook both sides till done and make thosa.

  • Fry the onion garlic and curry leaves add tomatoes then the chilli flakes. Then add the chickpeas cook further and season to taste.

  • Then add the mixture as a filling to a side of prepared thosa and flip as a pan cake. Serve hot.
